Personal life or travel experiences: Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro would be the highlight of my travels. Seeing my favourite continent from the highest point was an amazing site. I love different cultures and personally experience the most inner peace in the African bush viewing a lion with her cubs.

Personal life or travel experiences: With nearly 40 years of travel consulting in Mosman I have seen many changes in the products we sell and the way we sell them. The early seventies saw the introduction of cheap and fast airline services to Europe and international travel became accessible to all. Airlines schedules were to be found in phone book size directories which came out monthly and bookings were made by phone or telex. Today the changes in technology make it much easier to access information and services but the challenge is still there to create the right travel experience for each individual client.
Places I love to sell, talk about: Europe, Africa and Asia are high on the list but I also love selling places closer to home such and Tasmania and New Zealand where there are so many opportunities to experience the natural scenic beauty along with fine food and wine. In recent years there has been a boom in Cruising holiday options and I enjoy assisting client in choosing between the grand ocean liners such as Cunard or the smaller luxury lines such as Silverseas and Seabourn. The expansion of expeditionary cruises to remote destinations has also added to the variety of cruising options available. I also enjoy arranging specialised group travel and get great satisfaction out from arranging regular trips to Asia and the Pacific for teams of medical volunteers who donate their time to provide urgent medical care and ongoing training in countries with limited medical facilities.

Personal life or travel experiences: I see every destination as a new adventure and I thoroughly enjoy discovering new places.  Whether it is skiing Canada or cruising on one of the gorgeous Cruise ships such as Regent Seven Seas, or taking a tuk-tuk before the sunrises to Angkor Wat and watching the sky turn pink as the sun rises over the main temple, or an adventure with Abercrombie & Kent to the remote areas of Zambia staying in beautiful lodges and camps surrounded by wild animals!. Luxury is all about the experience whether it’s with kids or without it’s the detail that makes the difference of an exceptional travel experience.

Personal life or travel experiences: I am a bit of a fitness freak and in 2004 I had finished my morning run up to Diamond Head (Honolulu) and decided to finish with a swim at the beach. When I was coming out of the water who do I see standing alone on the beach — none other than Cameron Diaz!. Of course I had to go up to her and introduce myself. She turned out to be great fun and we chatted for 10 minutes. That is my brush with fame while holidaying in Hawaii.

Personal life or travel experiences: Having travelled extensively to more than 50 countries throughout Europe, North America, the Eastern Mediterranean, Africa & Asia, I have an intense love of travel that just keeps growing! Whether it be canoeing the Okavango Delta, skiing down the slopes of Steamboat Springs, climbing to the top of Mt Sinai or relaxing in a hammock on a remote Mexican Beach, every holiday holds the experience of a lifetime that I love to share with anyone willing to listen! Now that I have a child, my interest is to also discover exceptional places that will suit the whole family in their quest for the perfect getaway!

Personal life or travel experiences: I joined the Travel Industry when I was 18 because I was eager to see the world! That eagerness is still just as strong today. There is nothing more exciting to me than landing in a new country ready to explore. I love to meet the locals and soak up the culture of a country as I feel that’s how you see a country at it’s best.
Places I love to sell, talk about: Elephant trekking in Thailand, Swimming with Dolphins in Hawaii and snorkeling in Fiji are some of the highlights that stay in my mind. I now have a baby so my travel needs have changed and I look forward to experiencing ‘Travelling with Kids’ for myself!

Personal life or travel experiences: Visiting the Shwedago Temple in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma), experiencing the Blue Train from Capetown to Pretoria, South Africa. My personal holidays involve a lot of ocean travel as I have a passion for cruising, the Yachts of Seabourn being my favourite. Seeing different ports every day, unpacking once and returning to the sanctuary of a beautiful ship at the end of day exploring to enjoy wonderful food and good company, it doesn’t get much better!
Places I love to sell: Cruising holidays to any destination, they offer great value for money, you can do as much or as little as you like and they take the stress out of travel.

Personal life or travel experiences: I have my favourites I love to return to but sometimes it is a place you’ve never been before that surprises and delights. Vietnam and Turkey were amazing with great food, great people, history, landscape and culture. I recently tried river cruising in Europe and absolutely loved the concept.

Once you have experienced the challenge and excitement of travel each holiday brings a feeling of anticipation of new experiences. The excitement of flying somewhere new never diminishes but often your choice of holiday does change over time. After 33 years in the travel industry I have been very lucky to have experienced beautiful resorts, buzzy cities, stunning beaches and new cultures in over 50 countries. As a keen walker I now enjoy the peace of Tasmania and have recently enjoyed the Maria island walk. I hope to continue to do challenging walks and try many yoga and health retreats.
